Why Enrol on Our Kitchen Cleaning Training Course?

October 26, 2015 – by Tony Earnshaw

For workforces everywhere having access to the right training is a vital part of having what it takes to become a market leader in your respective field, and for those in the catering, hospitality or cleaning industries, this theory still applies. As a leading provider of commercial cleaning services, over the years we’ve built an enviable reputation for quality and excellent results, and with the launch of our training school you can learn from the very best in the business to start or sustain your own company.

Our kitchen cleaning training course is particularly popular, in fact, chefs, hotel managers, kitchen staff and fellow commercial cleaning specialists travel from far and wide to participate in this two day course. But for those looking to enrol, what can you expect?

What does the syllabus cover?

When it comes to cleaning a commercial kitchen from top to bottom, having the skills and specialist equipment to do the job properly isn’t just a matter of upholding standards but protecting diners from the kitchen nasties that cause food poisoning and other issues associated with poor food hygiene. Our kitchen cleaning training course provides an intensive experience for those looking to learn the skills they need to keep commercial kitchens of all sizes and types pristine.

To understand just how to clean commercial kitchens, our experienced tutors will go back to basics, highlighting the differences between carbon, grease, dirt, grime and limescale, the factors that cause build-ups and what steps can be taken to remove even the most stubborn deposits.

What skills will you take back to your own commercial kitchen?

Providing a poignant mixture of classroom learning and practical sessions, you will learn how to use specialist equipment like steam cleaners, cutting apparatus and wet vacuums, as well as what steps should be taken to maintain such tools. In addition to learning how to clean various commercial kitchen appliances and areas – including filters, extractor hoods, rotating fans, fryers, ovens, worktops, fridges, freezers, duct work and splash backs – you will discover how to safely use chemicals in accordance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) guidance and BESA standards.

The use of personal protective equipment, safe working practices specific to commercial kitchens and safety when cleaning gas appliances will also be covered during the kitchen cleaning training course, unlocking essential knowledge for anyone working in the commercial kitchen environment.

How can I enrol?

Course dates are available throughout 2015 and into 2016, but hurry places are filling up fast. The two day kitchen cleaning training course costs just £485 plus VAT, this price includes all PPE, chemicals, cleaning equipment, training centre facilities and lunch.
